U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will visit North Dakota Thursday to participate in three roundtable discussions with state and tribal leaders.
The events in the Bismarck area will focus on regenerative agriculture, tribal health, the Rural Health Transformation Program and the regulatory burden on long-term care providers, according to U.S. Sens. Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven’s offices.
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum, North Dakota’s former governor, also will join some of the discussions, according to Cramer’s office.
Both North Dakota senators are expected to attend the discussions alongside Gov. Kelly Armstrong, U.S. Rep. Julie Fedorchak and leaders of the state’s healthcare industry.
“We’re always happy when we get guys from the administration out here,” Armstrong said. “We like to show off North Dakota with anybody who takes the time to visit, and we’re excited to have him.”
