FIRST ALERT: Foggy spots early; bright, mild Thursday
THURSDAY: A few early morning patches of fog will quickly give way to bright sunshine as highs reach the lower 70s. Light winds and low humidity will make for a great fall afternoon. Skies remain cool and clear overnight with lows dropping into the lower 50s.
FRIDAY: A second, drier cold front slides through Friday, ushering in cooler air. Expect mostly sunny with a breezy north wind. Highs top out in the middle 60s; we’ll trend clearer overnight, which will allow temperatures to fall into the chilly 40s.
EXTENDED: True November weather arrives for the weekend as highs drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s under a mix of clouds and sun. Chilly morning lows in the 40s—with upper 30s in outlying West Tennessee spots—will bring frost potential. Sunny, dry weather holds into next week as highs rebound closer to 70º by mid-week.
