Editorial: After blue deluge, hard work begins

The celebrations by the Democratic Party at its return from the wilderness were, of course, exuberant. The results of a tumultuous midterm election played out better than most politicians and pollsters predicted for the party, sweeping Democrats into majorities in both the U.S. House and Senate.
