McBride Homes eyes major mixed-use transformation at former Jamestown Mall site
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - McBride Homes is moving forward with plans to turn the former Jamestown Mall property into a massive mixed-use community, bringing more than 700 residences, commercial space, and public parks to Florissant.
The developer aims to fully fund all road, sewer, and utility infrastructure privately without seeking taxpayer-funded incentives, positioning the multi-phase project as a long-term economic catalyst projected to generate an estimated 240 jobs alongside millions in tax revenue.
Beyond North County, McBride is also expanding into the city of St. Louis, teaming up with the Urban League to test the North City market with an initial 10-home single-family development near Page Boulevard and Kingshighway.
