Karyn Greer had a chance to meet Vanessa and award her a $500 Kroger gift card, which will help her buy needed items for herself and her family.

She told Greer it’s going to come in handy with the holidays coming up.

Vanessa is the second winner of our contest this year. The first winner, Donna Collins, was awarded her prize Oct. 14.

The sweepstakes began Sept. 28 and ran through Oct. 23.
