Man stabbed in Shoreline; investigation underway

Just after midnight on Wednesday, Shoreline police officers and King County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a stabbing in the 17000 block of Midvale Ave. N.

Deputies found a man with stab wounds. He told them that two people demanded his cell phone. When he refused and tried to get away, they chased him down and attacked him.

Shoreline Fire personnel treated the man at the scene, and he was taken to a hospital.

Officers searched the area, using a patrol canvass, a drone, and a K9, but did not locate anyone.

The case is under investigation by the King County Major Crimes Unit.
