PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Philadelphia's Frankford section early Friday morning, while standing on a sidewalk with his wife.
Police say someone in a silver SUV pulled up to the pair on the 1600 block of Margaret Street just after 1:30 a.m.
Someone fired at least three shots from the passenger side before the driver took off.
The 41-year-old victim was shot once in the foot and twice in the leg.
He is now hospitalized in stable condition.
The victim told police he had not exchanged any words with the people in the SUV and could not think of a reason anyone would want to hurt him.
