Weekend cold front brings a nice chill

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - A nice weekend of weather is incoming as our latest cold front sweeps through the region.

⛅ WEEKEND FORECAST - The front arrives tonight setting up a cooler trend heading into the weekend. We go from highs in the upper 70s today to falling into the low 70s and upper 60s for highs Saturday and Sunday. The only question mark in the weekend forecast is cloud coverage as we could have periods where the cloud layer thickens up and blocks out the sun.

🥶 CHILLY NIGHTS - Cool days will obviously lead to chilly nights. Lows are likely to fall into the 40s each night into next week north of the lake with 50s south of the lake.

No big rain chances are coming anytime soon.
