PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The man accused of killing one woman and assaulting two others inside a salon in the East Mount Airy section of Philadelphia has been arrested.

The video featured is from a previous report.

Jamal Pistoria, 33, was taken into custody while on a SEPTA bus in the 500 block of S. Broad Street around 1 a.m. on Friday, according to police.

He is facing charging for murder, sexual assault, robbery and other offenses, which are expected later Friday, according to officials.

Authorities said Pistoria entered a salon on the 6300 block of Stenton Avenue on Monday afternoon and assaulted three women with a gun.

Investigators said Pistoria forced one of the women to perform a sex act on him while he pistol-whipped her and another woman.

Authorities said Pistoria then shot and killed the third woman in the room, seemingly at random.

She was later identified as 34-year-old Ofelia Bellaniri Hernandez Camil.

The victims were eventually able to fight back and force Pistoria to flee, authorities said.
