PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Four men from New York are facing charges for allegedly using fake money to get real cash from stores across Pennsylvania.
The scheme hit stores in 16 counties, including Bucks, Chester and Montgomery.
State Attorney General Dave Sunday says the men used counterfeit bills to buy merchandise at stores like Kohl's and Target, then returned it for real cash.
The four men -- Fabian Coke, Fitzroy James, Christopher Nicholas and Gabriel Young -- are all charged with organized retail theft and conspiracy, according to officials.
The scheme involved more than $20,000 in purchases and brought in at least $12,000.
Authorities are still working to track down the men.
