Woman went on a first date and never returned. Now, more of her remains have been found

MILWAUKEE (Gray News) - A jawbone found in Milwaukee has been identified as belonging to a 19-year-old woman who was killed and dismembered after a first date.

Sade Robinson’s mother, Sheena Scarbrough, said at a news conference Thursday that a pedestrian found her daughter’s jaw and teeth on a rock at Warnimont Park in Cudahy.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the discovery and told WISN 12 News that testing matched the jaw to Robinson.

“Our condolences go out to Robinson’s family as they absorb this news and reflect on her memory,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Robinson went on a first date with Maxwell Anderson on April 1, 2024. She was never seen again.

A jury convicted Maxwell Anderson of first-degree intentional homicide, dismembering a corpse, arson and hiding a corpse in connection with Sade Robinson's death.

Investigators said Anderson killed Robinson, dismembered her body and scattered her remains around Milwaukee County. They also said he burned her car to conceal evidence.

A jury found Anderson guilty of killing Robinson on June 6, 2025.

He was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of extended supervision.
