7-year-old dresses as Chief Meteorologist Steve Templeton

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Greyson Pelt, 7, dressed as Steve Templeton!

Greyson has been interested in weather, especially storms and tornadoes, his family said. He watches storms move in and how quickly the weather changes. He also watches tornado videos and has spent months watching the “Twisters” movies repeatedly.

When the family knows a storm is coming, they turn on Templeton’s forecast so Greyson can watch it while looking outside at the weather. Greyson has noticed whether Templeton’s sleeves are rolled up or whether he is staying at ease, and uses that to help determine how severe the weather might be. He tells the rest of the family how serious a storm is based on Templeton’s sleeves, the family said.
