Witness finds shooting victim in road

Police in Clayton County said a man was found shot in the road Friday night.

Officers responded to the intersection of Pernell Drive and Stillman Court. There, they learned the victim was with several people in the area when gunshots rang out.

A witness found the shooting victim in the road.

The Clayton County Fire Department took the victim to the hospital. He was described as alert and conscious.

Officers haven’t been able to identify suspects yet. The investigation continues.
