Woman, 60s, critical after being struck at zoo parking lot

A woman in her 60s is in critical condition after being struck by a car in the Honolulu Zoo parking lot this afternoon, according to first responders.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene on Kapahulu Avenue at about 3:45 p.m.

Paramedics treated the woman, who suffered a head injury, with advanced life support. She was taken to the emergency room in critical condition for further treatment.
