Myers Park rolls past South Meck 55-22 in first round of NCHSAA 8A playoffs

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The rematch of this Greater Charlotte conference showdown went very much the same as the first meeting between Myers Park and South Meck.

The Mustangs cruised to a 55-22 win over the Sabres to reach the second round of the NCHSAA 8A state playoffs.

That’s now two consecutive seasons with a playoff win for Myers Park after the program failed to win a postseason game from 2021-2024.

Next up, the Mustangs will travel to West Forsyth for the second round next Friday night.
