Chilly Weekend Ahead, With Patchy Frost Possible Saturday Night
SATURDAY: If you’re heading out to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this morning, be sure to dress for the chill! Starting with temperatures in the 30s and 40s this morning. Mostly sunny skies are expected through the day, but afternoon highs will only reach the upper 50s. North winds will be around 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will drop again Saturday night under mostly clear skies with lows falling into the mid to upper 30s, with patchy frost possible in parts of the area.
SUNDAY: The weekend will wrap up with more sunshine and a modest warmup. Highs will reach the lower 60s Sunday afternoon, making for a slightly milder day than Saturday. Sunday night will remain chilly, with overnight lows near 40.
LOOKING AHEAD: The weekend chill will give way to a gradual warmup early next week. Highs will climb into the upper 60s Monday and reach near 70 Tuesday, with the lower 70s expected Wednesday. Overnight lows will also trend milder, rising from the 40s early in the week to near 50 by Wednesday night. That warmup looks short-lived, though. Temperatures will begin to fall Thursday, and another push of colder air will likely bring highs back into the upper 50s by Friday.
