Security camera video shows someone douse a car and a truck in fluid, then light them on fire.
Channel 2 reporter Michele Newell reports the homeowners say the fire could have spread to their home.
“Who did it? And why?” asks Billye Green. “Something woke me up. I got up, walked down the hall, looked out the window and saw the cars on fire.”
“Billye yelled, ‘Fire,’ and I came running out with the fire extinguisher, which quickly ran out because the flames were 15 feet high over my truck” Keith Green said.
“If he hadn’t went out with the fire extinguisher, it would’ve caught the house on fire,” Billye Green said.

It happened on Nov. 1 just after 1 a.m. in DeKalb County, where the Greens have lived peacefully for over 20 years.
“For something this vicious and intentional, I feel like he really probably had the wrong house,” Billye Green said.
In the video, you see someone with a gas can pour something on Billye Green’s car and Keith Green’s work truck.
“He lit both of the cars from the back,” Billye Green said.
“He ran across the end of our wall there and straight across in the car,” Keith Green said.

A neighbor gave the Greens video that shows a car take off after the fire happened. They say investigators are looking into it.
“They are doing all that they can. They have one at this point, I think, one person that may be a person of interest,” Billye Green said.
“We are going to be out of pocket a lot of money to replace the vehicles on top of our insurance,” Keith Green said.
Their message to the person who did this?
“Whether he thought it was something that was just fun, it was a violent crime because had it been minutes later, we may have been trapped in our home,” Keith Green said.
“The Lord is a very central part of our life, so we had that peace of knowing he was taking care of us,” Billye Green said.
They told Newell investigators are looking at Flock cameras to try and identify the car that left the neighborhood after the fire happened.
Georgia Arson Control is offering a reward up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
